Clean hands are pretty important, but what chemicals and toxins are you and your family absorbing into your body over the multiple times they wash their hands a day? With this organic, DIY foaming hand soap recipe, you will have full confidence with knowing exactly what is in your soap! Not to mention it’s really simple and cheap to make!

A natural homes DIY cleaning best friend – Castile Soap

The main ingredient used for this recipe is Pure-Castile Soap. I typically purchase the unscented version as that allows for me to add whatever essential oils I prefer, but there are heaps of exciting scents to chose from!
Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap is made with organic oils and as you can see from the ingredients list, it is wonderfully natural! There are so, so many uses for this soap and it’s is an excellent product for any natural home for use in countless natural DIY recipes.
Another important factor in this recipe is a foaming soap dispenser. The one I am using was purchased off Etsy.

Moisturising: An extra ingredient I have only recently added is some kind of moisturising oil to help keep hands soft. I have used olive, but almond or avocado would also be lovely. Just note that your standard coconut oil wont work as it becomes a solid at too cooler temperature and will clog the soap dispensers mechanism. Fractionated would work great though.
Essential Oils: Here I have used Doterra On Guard and Citrus Bliss (10 drops of each) as I find their scents are lovely for the wintery months and also the added health benefits of On Guard for the flu season. Have fun here, and experiment with seasonal scents and what best suits your needs! I’m thinking lavender and peppermint with a couple of drops of tea tree would be lovely come Spring.

So many people have no knowledge of the fact that fast hair growth shampoos (of course with no sulfates, no parabens, no DEA) exist. Individuals now may achieve longer hair and have more options. Definitely worth looking into it.
When you’re addressing alopecia, damaged hair, preventing skin disorders, fast hair growth, hair and scalp health normally, almost the same principles become relevant.
As a general rule, you should try to avoid hair products and treatments that include chemicals like parabens, DEA or sulfates.
What’s good for your hair is beneficial for your skin also.
